Son searching for info on father KIA at Khe Sanh
My name is Fred Bacon and I’m searching for photos of my father, William “Bill” Bacon. He was mortally wounded in a mortar attack on 27 Jun 1967 and died 29 Jun 1967 on a hospital ship. His commander was Captain Clickener, 3rd Batt, 26th Marines.
I’ve looked through the photos on your page (thank you for that) and had no luck. I’ve attached a photo of him to hopefully jump start some recollections.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Fred Bacon
