Thomas Udell Shipman

Thomas Udell Shipman, age 70 of Hendersonville, died Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. He was born August 2nd, 1946 in Henderson County; a son of the late, Buford and Irene Myrtle Adams Shipman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Shipman.
A resident of Henderson County; Mr. Shipman proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for thirteen years. He was a member of the Khe Sanh Veteran’s Association and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Chevelle Shipman; one son, David Shipman and his wife, Gozde; one daughter, Chellie Shipman; two grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Shipman; and by five brothers, Grady, Eddie, Jerry, Kenny and Ronnie Shipman.
