Vernon C. Rees Jr., 78, of Ashland, KY died Monday February 12, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center. He was born on October 2, 1945 in Burbank, CA to the late Vernon C. and Thelma Barker Rees.
He served proudly in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a social worker for the State of Kentucky for many years.
Vernon is survived by his wife Pam Rees of Ashland, KY, a son Chris Rees (Brittany) of Nicholasville, KY and a grandson Brody Deaton.
