Bravo/1/26 “Skipper”, Lt. Colonel Ken Pipes, USMC Retired, has gone on to Fiddler’s Green to join so many of his beloved Marines and Corpsmen with whom he served at Khe Sanh. He was at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. He is survived by his wife Sharon Pipes, son Conner, daughter Sandra, and son Tim. Ken Pipes was compassionate and passionate, intimately intuitive, intelligent and a true leader of men. Those left behind to grieve his leaving, if asked, would follow him into the breach, into the maw of death once again. Semper Fidelis, Skipper
