John Robert Lilley II

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Colonel John R. Lilley II, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and distinguished Marine, who peacefully left us at the age of 95.

Born on March 18, 1929, Colonel Lilley dedicated his life to the service of his country, proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His bravery, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his fellow Marines and his nation were exemplary and will forever be remembered.

Colonel Lilley was a devoted family man, survived by his two loving children, Russ (Pam) Lilley and Barbara Lilley, who were his pride and joy. He was also a beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren: Justin (Katie) Lilley, Shaun Lilley, Matt (Erin) Progen, Adam (Lindsey) Progen, Karyn Progen, Laura (Tommy) Seigle, and Emily Stevenson. Additionally, he was a doting great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren: Jackie, Dylan, Dean, Julianna, Natalie, Caroline, Logan, Lily, Liam, and Lydia.
