Social Media Integration
We have now successfully integrated our premier website khesanh.vet with our existing Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/KheSanhVeteransAssoc/).
Importantly, we have just added our new Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/khesanh.vet/) to our kick-ass social media mix.
While these three resources can not (yet) be directly linked as one online entity, they share the same Khe Sanh Veterans’ personal battle experiences in different formats.
You would be correct to say that our group of Khe Sanh veterans is now fully digitally exposed!
With this extensive digital exposure, the formulae used by most online search engines will point future searches, research and inquiries to our khesanh.vet website. We hope future historians, researchers and (most important) our families who are looking for information about what happened at Khe Sanh to use our website as their primary resource.
It is unrealistic to think that, in the future, one of our (great) grandchildren who wants to learn more about us and Khe Sanh, will even know that our most excellent website even exists. (However, you should know that our webmaster Alex has been successfully using every digital trick to keep us at the top of all search engine returns).
With the combination of our strong Facebook presence and our new Instagram account, future Khe Sanh searches will be much more likely to be digitally guided and channeled to discover the incredible wealth of information resident on our khesanh.vet website.
Much of the credit for expanding our KSV digital presence goes to our FaceBook side. A big callout (and well wishes) to Mike Fishbaugh who has been the backbone of our Facebook achievements, along with our Jack Haigwood.
Please understand that we firmly believe our khesanh.vet website, with it’s collection of Rev Stubbe’s works, every Red Clay magazine, the new Red Clay II articles, our collection of Short Rounds and our incredible photos IS now the world’s prime Khe Sanh research mother lode! Shortly, our new Member Bulletin Board will add to that mix.

Instagram is driven by photos and movie clips. Our website is limited in its ability to store and display more photos than we currently host. But Instagram has close to unlimited capacity. We now have a Instagram presence at (https://www.instagram.com/khesanh.vet/) exclusively for hosting your photos. So, think about dusting off your photo memories and sharing them on either our Instagram or our Facebook accounts or both. More details to follow in our next Short Round
Private Discussions Between Members On Line:
Our earlier web site Bulletin Board feature was one of best ways to exchange comms between our members. Thank you Dennis Mannion! And it was used regularly for all sorts of exchanges. That was wonderful and a great way to keep our membership connected and active. However, time, technology and hackers eventually rendered it not workable.
In an upcoming Short Round, we will introduce our new Bulletin Board for your private on line chatting and exchange of ideas with just other KSV members.
Broader Exposure To Our Shared History:
Without help from us, our world has moved primarily to on line and AI search tools to understand history. By assembling and ordering our extensive Khe Sanh battle histories from so many different sources, our khesanh.vet web site is perfectly suited for this new AI research world.
I can pretty much guarantee that when your grandchildren want to understand what you did at Khe Sanh, our website, Facebook Group and Instagram account will be placed near the top of their internet search results. That really is astounding isn’t its it?
