Message / Discussion Board
We just received the question below from KSVet William Boan. Answering his inquiry, and more like it, is one of the main reasons we have invested a ton of time and sweat into our new https://khesanh.vet/ web site.
There is now, and has been, a Bulletin Board / Message Board on the KSV web site https://www.bulletinboards.com/v2.cfm?comcode=16372 for quite a while. Members have asked questions and shared experiences there for decades. But, with the arrival of Facebook, use of this feature has diminished.
But this is still the VERY BEST way to communicate questions like William’s exclusively among we, real deal, Khe Sanh veterans.
The existing Message Board will be upgraded shortly to a more modern look. The upgraded version will look and feel a lot like a Facebook experience. But… it will be a KSV members only facility. None of the Facebook ads and personal data pirating.
The new / Discussion Board will be ours and ours alone!!
Obviously, this Discussion Board will only be useful if our membership uses it regularly for communications between us. So, please when you communicate with other KSVets, try to move your traffic to it as your primary channel.
*From KSVet William Boan: “I’m looking for stories as to what happened when G 2/26 assaulted Hill 700 in early Apr 1968. I was a 81mm Squad Leader on Hill 558 and to this day don’t understand what when wrong. There was no prep fire by the 81’s platoon or any prep fire by anyone to my recollection.
