Moving Forward II

With Tommy’s passing, we have his boots to fill and a lot more. The only way to do this is to share the load. In addition to the existing Board of Directors and Officers, we are recruiting members to be managers for specific responsibilities within the organization. Yes, exactly… Volunteers. Please send an email to admin@khesanh.vet if you are willing to help in any way.

Russ and Kathy have determined that it will be very, very difficult to produce hardcopies of our Red Clay magazine and mail them going forward. The huge workload that Tommy shouldered has gotten even heavier, and the cost of mail has increased dramatically. We may be able to produce and mail a Red Clay type publication occasionally, when we have sufficient content and finances to do so.

Overall, we have a little choice, but to move to a digital format for our member communications. Both the KSV leadership and the members will have to adjust, but if we want to move forward, this is the only possible solution. To start this initiative, we will begin sending a weekly Short Rounds newsletter (like this) via mass text and email to our members that have provided their contact information. These weekly Short Round communications can be found in their own Bunker on khesanh.vet.

Make A Note #1: Please send your updated contact information (email, text phone number and physical mailbox for possible snail mails to our master mailbox and Help Desk at: admin@khesanh.vet. All digital communications FROM members will be received and processed only via this mailbox.

Make A Note #2: Our old mailing and contact lists have taken a hit with all these changes. It is critical that you personally reach out to every KSV member you know (and the families of our Fallen!!) to be sure they comply with Note #1. Or do it for them. If not, they may be left in the digital dust.

Make A Note #3: Our updated website will be located at khesanh.vet. No longer khesanh.com. It should be launched before the end of July. On it, you will find Soooooooo many new features and content. ***Including…… a digital copy of every single Red Clay magazine and Newsletter ever produced!! You will be able to read them all and even search them all for your name, etc***. Stay tuned.
