Heim, Vincent Lee, age 75 of Lakeville passed away on Dec 3, 2022. Preceded in death by parents Clifford and Pauline Heim as well as infant brother, David. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda; children: William (Karey) Heim, Jennifer (Wesley) Caron, and James (Bridget) Heim; grandchildren: Lukas, Carson, Madeline, Payton, London, Kadence, and Conor; brothers: Douglas (Janet) Heim and Ronald Heim; also, by other loving family and friends. A Private service for Vincent will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Vincent was a dedicated family man who loved spending time with and being silly with his grandchildren. He enjoyed all aspects of history, serving as the official family historian. He served in the US Marine Corps, most notably during the Vietnam War in the battle of Khe Sanh, where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a voracious learner and a hard worker throughout his life.
