Harry R. Ernfield, 76, of Myerstown, PA died December 14, 2024 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
He was the husband of Beverly A. (Shaak) Ernfield. They were married on May 22, 1971, and celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Born in Jackson Township, PA on February 8, 1948, he was a son of the late James V. and Bertha M. (Reed) Ernfield.

Harry was a 1966 graduate of ELCO High School. Mr. Ernfield enlisted in the U.S. Marines Sept. 15th, 1965. He served in Khe Sanh, Vietnam during the Tet Offensive. Harry worked as an electrician and carpenter for the PA Turnpike Commission for 26 years and retired in 1997.

In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by a daughter, Adrian Layser, of Myerstown; son, Daren R. Ernfield, husband of Kendra of Myerstown; grandchildren, Peyton Layser, Chase Layser, & Ainsley Ernfield; sisters, Loretta Stamm, Jeannette Yeakley, & Constance Shaak; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Weik; brother, John Ernfield; and step father, Felix Kline.
