KVS News: Short Round 017
Red Clay II Articles
No one is quite sure how, but Tommy always seemed to find enough great articles to fill the Red Clay magazines every quarter. As did all the editors before him.
For all of you that are reading this, please know that KSV is still seeking articles to share with our membership and others. Our goal is to continue to fill in all of the gaps we can about what happened there and then. For us, our families, and future generations of Marine Corps historians who will study this battle for centuries to come.
For those of you who have not yet done so, I strongly recommend you visit our brand “spanking new” website at www.khesanh.vet (It just dawned on me after 82 years that means “spanking” a newborn to start its breathing.
And once on the main page, go to the Red Clay II Bunker https://khesanh.vet/red-clay-ii-new-articles.
There you will find an astounding 32 articles that Peter Brush and others have assembled for your Red Clay II reading. If we were to continue to print and mail out the magazine, any of these articles would be worthy of inclusion.
If that doesn’t keep you busy enough, there are plenty of additional new photos, articles, and other great information in your newly refurbished website Bunkers.
So, please, take a few minutes to explore what has been assembled for your enjoyment in Your new website. Try to get past concluding that you already know everything that needs to be known about THE battle. I will wager a case of most excellent IPA beer that you will thoroughly enjoy any of the articles. And wager that you will learn something new that will make you glad you did. My favorites are the two “Ice Cream” stories.
You can contact me or any of our KSV volunteers who bust their butts to make this work for you by emailing: admin@khesanh.vet.
You are guaranteed a prompt response.
