DeWind, Gerald 10/11/1950 – 12/8/2017 Chico, CA Gerald Clifford DeWind died unexpectedly at his home in Chico, CA. He served in the United state Marine Corps where he received a purple heart in the Battle of Khe Sanh, Vietnam in 1968. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Delores DeWind, adopted father Marvin DeWind and his biological father Gerald Lambert. Survived by many sisters and brothers: Steve (Ramona) Lambert, Kathy (Robert) Crockett, Beth (Carl) Hislop, Craig (Mary) DeWind, Cheryl (Jack) Anderson, Marla (William) Harrington, Lisa (Shattuck) Braafhart, Wendy (Darwin) Carlson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was loved by many and may you rest in peace our brother.
